Planners, watercolor and stickers are 3 search terms I use on Pinterest all of the time. I wish I was kidding but I spend more time than I would like to admit looking for inspiration. I love seeing creativity and feeling inspired to create. If it involves my Leather Quill even better!!
On a recent trip to Michaels I stumbled upon these awesome foiled stickers just waiting for some watercolor. You can use colored pencil, paint, markers or leave them as is. The sky is the limit. I picked up 2 packs of stickers and 1 pack of the page flags.
The foil stickers are on heavy card stock like paper and contain 30 or so stickers depending on the pack.
I fell in love with these circle flower stickers. The pack contained 4 sheets. I immediately grabbed my favorite watercolor markers and started coloring while watching a documentary about D-Day.
I colored in a few and used watercolor on some of the larger ones. The paper was a champ!! I love that I don't need to be super careful when coloring these. I also used a napkin to blot the color off the foil.
While I don't mind the repeating pattern of the flower stickers I wish this set had different designs on each page. I do appreciate them and love the designs.
Like the flower stickers I used watercolor on a few of these and I LOVE them!
I also picked up a pack of sticky notes/page flags. The paper quality is decent and they are sticky! Unlike Target sticky notes these stay put. I also think they are really cool left blank. I tried both my markers and a little watercolor; they held up ok. I would recommend pulling the sheet off and coloring them 1 at time and not on top of each other. My markers did bleed a little but nothing serious.
I ended up adding the stickers and a couple sticky notes to my layout for today. I adore them!! I love the foil and taking 10 minutes to be creative really helped me focus. They are also really fun!
If you head to Michaels looking for these I found them in a whole section of washi, more stickers, tshirts, wall art and so on that you can color or paint. My Michaels had them in the main aisle but I am sure you can call your store to find out if they are available.
I think it is awesome more stores are coming out with fun projects for us planner girls! If you've purchased any of these sets and used them in your planner make sure to tag me in your picture ( @leatherquillshoppe) so I can see your handy work!
